“I am a Conservative candidate in Alberta”
Everyone has seen this and the pacing is sometimes a little slow … but I really like it. Sorry.
It is hard … living in a safe Ontario Conservative riding … but it must be harder in Alberta.

Yep!
I am a fiction writer. So here’s a fiction.
A vacuum cleaner salesman comes to your door. “You must buy this vacuum cleaner,” he says. “Why?” you say. “Because I know what’s good for you,” he says. “I know things you don’t know.” “What are they?” you say. “I can’t tell you,” he says, “because they’re secret. You are required to trust me. The vacuum cleaner will create jobs.”
Oh Margaret Atwood, you strange, wonderful creature.

Parliament Today (click pic to watch live until about 19hr Zulu Friday)
Old Parliament Buildings shown with ‘Victoria Tower’.
At 17hr Z, 13hr Eastern Daylight Friday:
Speaker Milliken has just said his good-byes.
Debate on non-confidence motion re-starts shortly, followed by vote.
Prime Minister (when government defeated) to speak at about 14hr, probably later, followed by Leader of Opposition (both outside of Commons).
Rumour so far is that PM will visit Governor General at 09hr Saturday.
Then election campaign begins.
Things are about to get intense, kids.
